England resumed their innings on day three of the second Test at Multan Cricket Stadium, facing a deficit of 126 runs with just four wickets in hand against Pakistan’s determined bowling attack.

The visitors, with Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse on the crease are continuing from 239-6 after Sajid Khan got the Green Shirts back in the game by bagging four wickets as visitors attempt to chase down Green Shirts’ 366-run total in the first innings.

A day earlier, the Ben Stokes’ men were leading the game from the top with Ben Duckett’s smashing hundred to lead England’s robust reply to Pakistan’s total.

However, Sajid dismissed centurion Duckett, Harry Brook, Joe Root and Ollie Pope to turn the tide in favour of the hosts.

Before that, the Shan Masood-led side got out for 366 with debutant Kamran Ghulam top-scoring for the hosts with a fluent 118 and Saim Ayub contributing 77.

Spinner Jack Leach (4-114) and seamer Brydon Carse (3-50) impressed with the ball for England, who are 1-0 up in the three-Test series.
