She was awarded a PhD degree at the convocation held at the University of Karachi.
“Alhumdulillah…Big Day…Today, I officially received my PhD degree in Quran O Sunnah from the Vice Chancellor of Karachi University Mr Khalid Iraqui,” she wrote on Instagram while sharing a video in which she was seen receiving the degree.
“I am dedicating this degree to my encouraging ex-husband Late Aamir Liaquat Hussain,” Bushra wrote.
Aamir Liaquat, who ruled the TV screens for many years, passed away in June 2022 under mysterious circumstances.
He had tied the knot thrice but all his marriages ended up on separation.
